Escape Maps are puzzle solving maps that have been quite the rage on Xbox FC2 for the last few years. These are really fun to play solo as well as with several players. We are trying to introduce these Escape type themes to the PS3 crowd with a series of our own maps. Pre-updated physics allow for moving barrels and destructible card boxes. This map fills up all 64 grids and takes approximately 15-20m to complete. Diamond Boxes and Uprising Checkpoints are all located at the end of course. Difficulty level for this map is easy to moderate and supports all modes.
This map started off as a solo map but became a coop project, unfortunately we just had to keep changing areas because it was too difficult for people to work out - the original build was too complicated for players to figure out leaving the 1st room and it always ended up in a killing spree.
We had to put up messages saying No Killing, the puzzles became easier and some were removed, this was to allow the players to work their way through a third of the map before they had to start thinking - we hoped by then that players who stook around would be intrigued and curious, it seemed to work pretty well.
supa came up with some amazin ideas which for me are on the back burner until I get my PS3 fixed yet again, hopefully we will put some more of these maps out befor FC3 ships so that people will understand what is required to get to the end.
